fun la..
Guys, do you think any freshies are reading this thing?
Anyway, if any of you have a compilation of friends-who-are-freshies’ e-mails. can u send them to me?
Oooh. I just tried the game, and it seems pretty accurate. I went to witness a TKR last friday and they did just about the same things as the game told us to do. Only difference is that these experienced orthopods don’t draw lines.
When the synovium was cut, some suction had to be used to clear the fluid. And it’s quite a significant amount of fluid. One surgeon told me as much as 1 litre of fluid can go into the joint. And we all know that kind of swelling is gonna cause alof of pain.
They also did not seem to incorporate a patellar component for the TKR – just a femoral and tibial prosthesis.
What kind of problems do you think will arise from destruction of the intraarticular ligaments, as well as the associated knee bursas?
Cheers.
